SUMMARY:Portugal Day Contest (HF)
DESCRIPTION:Sponsor: REP\nModes: SSB\, CW\nBands: 80m\, 40m\, 20m\, 15m\, 1
 0m\nBand note: 10\, 15\, 20\, 40 and 80 meter bands\, fully respecting lic
ensing rules of each country. Observance of established band plans is stro
ngly encouraged.\nDuration: 23h 59m\nExchange: DX stations send RST and a
sequential number beginning 001\; Portuguese stations\, including the Azor
es and Madeira\, send RST and the letters identifying their district (or c
ounty in the Azores and Madeira).\nNote: log_deadline_days is deliberately
absent. REP states a fixed calendar deadline -- 'no later than June 30th
of the same year' -- not a span\, and June 30 is 15 days after the 2025 ru
nning but 16 after the 2026 one\, so any single number would be wrong in m
ost years. REP's 2030 date is what pins the recurrence\, and it rules out
the reading that would otherwise be tempting: 1 June 2030 is itself a Satu
rday\, so a reader who did not count a weekend opening on the 1st would ma
ke 8-9 June the first and 15-16 the second. REP publishes 8-9 June\, so th
e weekend opening on the 1st counts. Nothing turns on full weekend versus
second Saturday here -- the two readings give the same date in every year
from 2025 to 2060\, because only a Saturday falling on a month's LAST day
fails to open a full weekend\, which a second Saturday never is. The full-
weekend type is encoded because 'fim de semana' is REP's own wording\, not
because it changes an answer. 'Mixed' is one of REP's three entry categor
ies rather than a fourth mode -- the contest permits SSB and CW\, which is
what modes records. Logs go to rep-concursos@rep.pt by e-mail\; there is
 no submission website\, so log_submit_url is absent.\nRules: https://concu
