SUMMARY:Concurso Dia de Portugal VHF/UHF
DESCRIPTION:Sponsor: REP\nModes: SSB\, CW\nBands: 2m\, 70cm\, 23cm\, 13cm\n
Band note: As recomendadas nos planos de banda da IARU\, Região 1\, (2m=1
 44MHz\; 4m=70 MHz\; 70cm=432MHz\; 23cm=1200MHz e 13cm=2300 MHz) -- the IAR
 U Region 1 band plans. REP's list includes 4m (70 MHz)\, which is not in t
his catalog's band vocabulary and so is recorded here rather than in bands
 .\nDuration: 6h\nExchange: Callsign\, RS(T)\, a number beginning 001 and t
he full QTH locator (for example IM58is). The log must also carry the UTC
time and the date of each contact.\nLogs due: 2027-06-20\nNote: REP PUBLIS
HES TWO CONTRADICTORY RULES FOR THIS CONTEST AND BOTH ARE LIVE. concursos.
rep.pt\, the portal linked from rep.pt's own front page\, says 10 June eve
ry year\, lists 2m/4m/70cm/23cm/13cm\, weights points per band and sets th
e log deadline at 20 June. portugaldaycontest.rep.pt/regras_vhf_uhf.php st
ill says 'no 2º Sábado do mês de junho de cada ano\, (8 de Junho de 202
4)'\, lists only 2m/70cm/23cm\, and sets the deadline at 30 June. The two
disagree about the date in every year where 10 June is not the second Satu
rday. The fixed date is encoded because it is the one REP actually ran: 10
June 2025 was a Tuesday and REP's logs-received post for the 2025 running
is dated that day\, whereas the second Saturday of June 2025 was the 14th
. The superseded page is recorded here rather than silently ignored. Becau
se both the contest and the deadline are fixed dates\, log_deadline_days i
s exactly 10 in every year -- unlike REP's two other contests\, whose dead
lines are calendar dates that do not sit a constant span after the contest
. Modes: REP writes 'Fonia' (phone) rather than SSB specifically\; SSB is
 the catalog's only phone token.\nRules: https://concursos.rep.pt/concurso-
