 W. The AFS CW Saturday is the anchor\; Datamodes is the Sunday eight days 
 later and SSB the Saturday fourteen days later. No consistent ordinal desc
 ribes Datamodes on its own -- it is the third Sunday in 2022 and 2023 and 
 the second in 2024\, 2025 and 2026 -- so encoding it as an ordinal would h
 ave been wrong in two of the five years RSGB published.\n\nTHE 1 JANUARY E
 XCEPTION IS EVIDENCED\, NOT ASSUMED. 1 January 2022 was itself a Saturday 
 and RSGB ran AFS CW on the 8th\, so `exclude_dates: [[1\, 1]]` is what rep
 roduces that year -- the same shape ARRL RTTY Roundup states outright for 
 its own New Year clash. RSGB does not state it in words\, but unlike TRAC'
 s equivalent this is not a single year's evidence fitted to a rule: it is 
 the only reading that fits all five years across all three contests. It ne
 xt decides anything in 2028.\n\nPREVIOUSLY UNVERIFIED\, AND THE GUESS WAS 
 RIGHT ABOUT THE RULE AND WRONG ABOUT NOTHING ELSE. This record was carried
