SUMMARY:TA VHF-UHF Contest (unverified)
DESCRIPTION:Sponsor: TRAC\nModes: SSB\, CW\, FM\nBands: 6m\, 2m\, 70cm\nBan
 d note: 6m: 50-52 MHz\, 2m: 144-146 MHz\, 70cm: 430-440 MHz\, per the IARU
Region 1 band plan. Phone is SSB or FM. Digital modes such as FT8 and JT6
5 and digital radios such as DMR and C4FM are forbidden -- 'Tüm QSO'lar a
nalog olmalıdır'\, all QSOs must be analogue.\nDuration: 24h\nExchange:
 RST\, a serial number starting at 001\, and a six-character Maidenhead loc
 ator -- for example '59 123 KN90UX'.\nNote: VERIFIED FALSE\, AND THE EXCEP
TION IS THIS CATALOG'S INFERENCE RATHER THAN TRAC'S WORDING.\n\nTRAC state
s 'Temmuz ayının ilk hafta sonu' -- the first weekend of July -- and tha
t reproduces its own published dates for 2024\, 2025 and 2026. It does NOT
  reproduce 2023: 1 July 2023 was itself a Saturday\, so the rule gives 1-2
  July\, and TRAC ran the contest on 8-9 July\, a week later.\n\n`exclude_d
ates: [[7\, 1]]` is what makes all FOUR published dates come out right\, a
nd it is the same shape as ARRL RTTY Roundup's 'first full weekend of Janu
ary but never 1 January'. The difference is that ARRL states its exception
and TRAC does not\, so this is one year's evidence fitted into a rule rat
her than a rule read off a page.\n\nIt only matters when 1 July is a Satur
day\, which next happens in 2028\, then 2034 and 2045. In every other year
the exception is inert and the record is simply TRAC's own sentence. Ask
TRAC what happens when the month opens on a Saturday and this becomes veri
fied either way.\n\nModes: TRAC permits SSB\, CW and FM. SSB is this catal
og's only phone token\, so FM is recorded in submodes and the ban on digit
al modes is in bands_note.\nUNVERIFIED: these dates have not yet been chec
ked against the sponsor's own published rules. Confirm before you rely on
 them.\nRules: https://trac.org.tr/tr/ta-vhf-uhf-contest-2026
