ARSI VU-DX Contest
India's international DX contest: 24 hours from 1200 UTC on four HF bands, open worldwide, with Indian states and union territories as the multiplier.
Rules at arsi.infoThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.
When it runs
Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)
- 1200Z → 1159Z the next day
Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.
The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.
Next runnings
The sponsor sets this date each year rather than by a rule, and has published through 2026. Years they have not announced are absent rather than guessed.

- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off ARSI's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
- What the source says
arsi.info/dxcontest/, the Amateur Radio Society of India's own page: 'Dates : 22 - 23 August 2026. Duration : 22-Aug 12:00 UTC to 23-Aug 11:59:59 UTC. Geographic Focus : India. Participation : Worldwide. Mode : SSB, CW, Mixed. Power : Low: < 100W, High: > 100W. Bands : 40, 20, 15, 10 M. Exchange: VU: RS(T) + 2-letter State/UT code; Non-VU: RS(T) + Serial Number.' Scoring gives VU stations 1 point per VU QSO and 3 per DX QSO, and non-VU stations 3 points per VU QSO.
- Recorded caveats
- Mixed is one of ARSI's entry categories rather than a third mode; the contest permits SSB and CW, which is what modes records. ARSI PUBLISHES DATES, NOT A RECURRENCE. Every one of its contest pages opens with the year's dates and states no rule anywhere -- no 'annually on', no ordinal weekend. So all five records are manual and hold exactly the 2026 editions ARSI published. Fitting an ordinal to one date would be inventing a rule ARSI has not written, and Asia is thin enough that the temptation is worth naming.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Subscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=arsi-vu-dx
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
