CQ WW RTTY WPX Contest
Worldwide RTTY contest scored on prefixes worked: every different callsign prefix counts once, on any band, so the multiplier grows all weekend rather than saturating.

CQ WPX RTTY rules I: 'For amateurs world wide to contact as many amateurs and prefixes as possible during the period of operation.'
Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off CQ Magazine's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-16.
- What the source says
cqwpxrtty.com states the period ('Starts: 0000 UTC Saturday Ends: 2359 UTC Sunday') and the year's dates ('February 14-15, 2026') but no recurrence rule. Second full weekend of February -- equivalently the second Saturday, which in February is always a full weekend -- reproduces all eleven CQ-published runnings 2016-2026, each read from that year's archived rules PDF on cqwpxrtty.com. Verified 2026-08-16.
- Recorded caveats
- CQ's own WPX_RTTY_Rules_2025_en.pdf is headed 'February 10-11, 2024' -- those were the 2024 dates. The same PDF's log deadline (2359 UTC February 14, 2025) puts the 2025 running on February 8-9, which is what this record generates.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=cq-wpx-rtty
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
