- What the source says
darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/cwa/darc-cw-ausbildungscontest/, DARC's own page for the series: it runs '1-mal im Quartal' -- once a quarter -- and 'reiht sich vom Termin her in die anderen neuen DARC Kurzconteste (RTTY, FT4) ein', aligning with the other new DARC short contests. Speeds are moderate, 'around 12 WPM and potentially extending to 22-24 WPM', with extended character spacing for learners. Dates and times from DARC's own 'Termine DARC KW Conteste 2026' table at darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/darc-kw-conteste/kw-conteste/: 10.03.2026, 09.06.2026, 08.09.2026 and 08.12.2026, each 1800-1859 UTC. Checked 2026-08-23.
- Recorded caveats
- IT COMPLETES A PATTERN DARC DESCRIBES BUT DOES NOT SPELL OUT. Their three short contests take one month of each quarter in turn, all on a Tuesday evening: the RTTY-Kurzcontest in months 1/4/7/10, the FT4 Contest in 2/5/8/11, and this one in 3/6/9/12. All four of DARC's published dates are the SECOND TUESDAY of those months. That is what 'reiht sich vom Termin her in die anderen ... ein' means, and the arithmetic confirms it rather than assuming it. VERIFIED FALSE because the page that describes the series is prose about teaching CW rather than an Ausschreibung: no bands, no exchange, no deadline. BANDS ARE UNRECORDED, so every band filter excludes this record. WHERE THE BANDS WOULD HAVE BEEN: Not stated on the page that describes the series. That sentence sits here rather than in bands_note, because bands_note is for a sponsor's own wording ABOUT a band list and must never stand in for one -- a test enforces it, and it caught this.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=darc-cw-ausbildungscontest
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
