DARC Ostercontest

Two and a half hours on 80 and 40 m on Easter Monday, CW and SSB, with DOKs as the multipliers.

Rules at darc.deThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.

When it runs

Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)

  • 1500Z → 1729Z

Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.

The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.

Next runnings

The sponsor sets this date each year rather than by a rule, and has published through 2026. Years they have not announced are absent rather than guessed.

What the source says
darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/darc-ostercontest/regeln/, DARC's own rules: the contest runs annually on 'Ostermontag' -- Easter Monday -- on 80 m and 40 m in CW and SSB, with seven entry classes plus a checklog. Exchange: 'RS(T) und ihren DOK' for members, 'NM' for German non-members, 'RS(T) + laufende Nummer' from abroad. Deadline: '7 Tage nach dem Wettbewerb (fuer 2026 der 13.04.2026, 23:59 UTC)'. Date and time from DARC's own 'Termine DARC KW Conteste 2026' table at darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/darc-kw-conteste/kw-conteste/: 06.04.2026, 1500-1729 UTC. Checked 2026-08-23.
Recorded caveats
MANUAL FOR A DATE THAT IS PERFECTLY COMPUTABLE, and that is a compromise rather than a judgement about DARC. They state the rule in words -- 'Ostermontag' -- and Easter is deterministic, so this SHOULD be a rule. This catalog has no Easter-anchored rule type, and adding one means changing both engines and the parity suite for a single record. So it holds the published date and goes empty in 2027, and the cost is visible: it joins the expiry cliff for a date arithmetic could produce. If a second Easter-anchored contest turns up, that is the moment to add the rule type -- the same standard that added per-date times when the 3.5 MHz series became the second consumer rather than the first. 6 April 2026 is Easter Monday, and matches DARC's own table.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Subscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=darc-ostercontest

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
