Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off DARC's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-18.
- What the source says
darc.de/der-club/referate/conteste/weihnachtswettbewerb/regeln/: 'Der Deutsche Amateur-Radio-Club (DARC) lädt alle Funkamateure zur Teilnahme am jährlichen Weihnachtswettbewerb (XMAS-Contest) ein.' '1. Termin: 26. Dezember, 08.30-10.59 UTC.' -- '26 December, 0830-1059 UTC.' DARC's own English page states the same: 'XMAS, 26. December 2026, 8.30-10.59 UT.' Betriebsarten und Bänder: 80m and 40m, 'CW 3510-3560 khz 7010-7040 khz, SSB 3610-3650 3700-3775 khz 7060-7100 7130-7200 khz'; 'Es sind maximal 20 Wechsel der Betriebsart oder des Bandes während der gesamten Contestzeit zugelassen.' -- at most 20 band or mode changes in the whole contest. Logeinsendeschluß: 'NEU: 7 Tage nach dem Wettbewerb (für den Contest 2026 der 2.01.2027)' -- 'NEW: 7 days after the contest.' Verified 2026-08-18.
- Recorded caveats
- A calendar-fixed date, not a weekday rule: 26 December whatever day it falls on. DARC shortened the log deadline to seven days and flags the change itself ('NEU: verkürzte Logabgabefrist auf 7 Tage').
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=darc-xmas
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
