ERAU · EE

Estonian HF Cup (ES LL KV)

Nine Saturday-morning 80m sprints across the year, run to Estonian clock time so the UTC hour moves with the seasons.

Rules at erau.eeThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.

When it runs

Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)

  • 1000 → 1059

Times are the sponsor's own clock in Europe/Tallinn, so the UTC instant moves an hour across a daylight-saving boundary. The runnings below are the resolved instants.

The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.

Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off ERAU's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
erau.ee 'ES LL KV reeglid' (PDF). 4.2: 'Voistlused viiakse labi 9-s etapis laupaeva hommikuti vastavalt ERAU kalenderplaanile.' (The competition is held in 9 stages on Saturday mornings according to ERAU's calendar plan.) 4.3: 'Etappide algus on 10:00 Eesti aja (EA) jargi ja lopp 11:00 EA' with four periods, the last running 10:45-10:59 EA. 4.4: modes CW and SSB on 80 m, CW below 3600 kHz and SSB above, 3530-3560 and 3600-3650 kHz recommended. 4.5: up to 100 W, QRP 10 W. 4.6: exchange RS(T) and a continuous serial from 001; CW scores 2 points and SSB 1. 7: logs are due 'hiljemalt voistlusele jargneva nadala neljapaeval kella 09.59'ks (EA)' -- by 09:59 Estonian time on the Thursday of the following week. Second source, published separately by ERAU: its 2026 calendar lists all nine dates -- 03.01, 14.02, 07.03, 04.04, 02.05, 05.09, 03.10, 07.11 and 05.12 -- and prints their UTC windows as 08:00-08:59 for stages 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 and 07:00-07:59 for stages 4, 5, 6 and 7.
Recorded caveats
SPONSOR-ANCHORED LOCAL TIME, and ERAU's own calendar proves the reading: 10:00-10:59 Estonian time is 08:00-08:59 UTC in winter (EET) and 07:00-07:59 in summer (EEST), which is exactly the split ERAU prints across the nine stages. The rules give no date rule at all -- 4.2 defers to the calendar plan -- so the dates are manual and taken from ERAU's published 2026 calendar. Eight of the nine are the first Saturday of their month; February's is the second. The log deadline is 'the Thursday of the following week', which is not a fixed number of days from the end of each stage, so it is recorded here rather than as log_deadline_days. Stages 4.3 also splits each hour into four periods; that is a scoring device inside one continuous hour.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=erau-es-ll-kv

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
