Who can enter
Anyone, anywhere.

'ESTONIAN STATIONS CAN WORK ALL THE STATIONS WHO PARTICIPATE ... NON-ES STATIONS CAN WORK ONLY ES STATIONS.' Anyone may enter; what differs is who counts. ERAU also states that contacts with Russian and Belarusian stations score nothing, citing the war in Ukraine.

Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off ERAU's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
erau.ee ES Open HF Championship rules (PDF). 'TIME: 3rd SATURDAY in APRIL: 18. APRIL 2026 05.00 - 08.59 UTC'. 'BANDS: 80 M AND 40 M SIMULTANEOUSLY' -- CW 3510-3560 and 7010-7040, SSB 3600-3650, 3700-3750 and 7060-7100, 7130-7175 kHz. 'ESTONIAN STATIONS CAN WORK ALL THE STATIONS WHO PARTICIPATE ... NON-ES STATIONS CAN WORK ONLY ES STATIONS.' 'NB! Due to the ongoing war in the Ukraine QSO-s with stations from Russia and Byelorussia are not counted in this contest and will not give any points.' Exchange: RS(T) and a continuous serial from 001. CW contacts score 2 points and SSB 1. Categories: LP up to 100 W, QRP up to 10 W. 'DEADLINE: LOGS ... SHOULD BE SENT NOT LATER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER THE CONTEST'. Second source, published separately by ERAU: its 2026 calendar prints a row 'ES Open HF Championship / 05:00-08:59 / CW,SSB' on 18.04.
Recorded caveats
The third Saturday of April 2026 is the 18th, which is the date the rules print and the date ERAU's own 2026 calendar carries. Everyone may enter, but only ES stations can work everyone; that asymmetry is recorded in the eligibility note rather than as two_sided, because two_sided would tell a station in an unlisted entity it cannot enter, which is false here.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Take it with you

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=erau-es-open

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
