New Year QSO Party unverified

JARL's new-year greeting party: five and a half days from January 2, all bands and modes, exchanging a report and the operator's name.

These dates have not been checked against JARL's own published rules yet. They are computed from the rule below, which is what the catalog holds — but the sponsor's page wins.

Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
unverified — these dates have not yet been checked against JARL's own page. Treat the sponsor's rules as authoritative.
What the source says
jarl.org (79th New Year QSO Party Rule -- 2026): 'January 2, 2026, 00:00 UTC to January 7, 12:00 (UTC)'. Participation: 'All amateur radio stations and SWLs.' Bands and modes: 'All bands and Modes permitted for JA amateur radio stations.' Exchange: 'RS(T) or signal strength report of the other station + operator's name (including handle name, initials, etc.)'. Contacts: 'JA stations: JA stations may contact any other stations. DX stations: DX stations may only contact JA stations.' Log deadline is a fixed date, 'January 31, 2026', not an interval, so log_deadline_days is omitted; logs go to nyp@jarl.org. Listed in JARL's own English contest index alongside All Asian DX and WW RTTY, which is why a QSO party is in this catalog at all.
Recorded caveats
BANDS UNRECORDED, NOT UNBANDED. JARL states only 'All bands and Modes permitted for JA amateur radio stations' and points at the Japanese band plan, so there is no band list to record and every band filter on this site excludes this record. VERIFIED:FALSE because JARL publishes the 79th party's dates but no recurrence rule -- January 2 is what the 2026 page says, not a rule JARL has stated.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=jarl-new-year-qso-party

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
