Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off LRMD's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
lrmd.lt/vmc/, the Lietuvos radijo megeju draugija's own rules. 'Varzybos vyksta kiekvienais metais pirma sekmadieni po Nauju metu, 0700-0759 UTC. Artimiausia data: 2026-01-04, 0900-0959 LST.' The English text on the same page: 'The contest takes place annually on the first Sunday after New Year's Day, from 0700 to 0759 UTC.' Modes 'CW, SSB, FM'; bands 80 m (3510-3600 CW, 3600-3700 SSB) and 2 m (144.050 CW, 144.300 SSB, 145.500 FM). 'Dalyvauti gali visi licencijuoti Lietuvos ir uzsienio radijo megejai (isskyrus Rusija ir Baltarusija)' (all licensed Lithuanian and foreign amateurs may take part, except Russia and Belarus). 'Ne daugiau kaip 100 W.' Exchange: 'RS(T) + rysio eiles numeris nuo 001 + 6 zenklu WW lokatorius'. One point per QSO; the multiplier is distinct WW locators per band. 'Ataskaitas siusti per 24 valandas po varzybu pabaigos' (send logs within 24 hours of the end). Logs to VMC@QRZ.LT in LYtest format; paper logs are not accepted.
Recorded caveats
Encoded as the first Sunday in January, which gives 4 January 2026 -- the date LRMD prints. CAVEAT: LRMD's two wordings diverge in the years when 1 January is itself a Sunday. 'The first Sunday AFTER New Year's Day' would then be the 8th, while the first Sunday IN January is the 1st. No such year has been published by LRMD, so neither reading can be tested against a sponsor date; the first-Sunday reading is encoded and the divergence recorded rather than resolved. FM is in submodes because it is not in the catalog's mode vocabulary.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=lrmd-vytautas-magnus

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
