'4. Participants: every amateur radio operator in the world'.

Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off MRASZ's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
ha-dx.com/en/contest-rules, MRASZ's own rules page. '1. Organizer: Magyar Radioamator Szovetseg (www.mrasz.hu).' '3. Date and time: every year 3rd full weekend of January, from Saturday 12:00 UTC to Sunday 12:00 UTC. In 2026: 17-18 January.' '4. Participants: every amateur radio operator in the world'. '6. Modes: A1A morse code (CW) and A3J phone (SSB).' Bands 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 m. Exchange: HA stations send RS(T) and county, others RS(T) and a serial. Points: 10 for a Hungarian station, 2 within one's own continent, 5 to another; /AM and /MM are worth 2. Categories QRP up to 5 W, LP up to 100 W, HP above. 'Log submission deadline: Logs must be uploaded on the HA-DX website within 5 days of the end of the contest.'
Recorded caveats
MRASZ states the rule and the year in the same sentence, which is its own check: January 2026's full weekends are the 3rd/4th, 10th/11th, 17th/18th and 24th/25th (31 January's Sunday falls in February), so the third is 17-18 January -- the date the rules print. The contest ends at 12:00 UTC, not 11:59, so the Sunday overlaps the Saturday start by a minute; that is what the rules say.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=mrasz-ha-dx

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
