Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off NZART's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-17.
What the source says
nzart.org.nz (NZART Sangster Shield rules): 'Third Saturday of May each year, between the hours of 0800-1100 UTC (2000 NZST-2300 NZST) on Saturday evening. The maximum period of operation will be three hours (6 operating periods of 30 minutes each).' Times are stated in UTC, so unlike the Jock White Field Day this record is not wall-clock. Band: '80m'. Power as quoted in note. Exchange as quoted. Log deadline: 'on or before the fourth Saturday after the contest', which is exactly the stored end instant plus 28 days, so the interval is encoded; logs go to sangster@nzart.org.nz. Checked against the date NZART prints on the same page: 'The next Sangster Shield contest will be held on Saturday 16th May 2026', and the third Saturday of May 2026 is May 16.
Recorded caveats
A low-power contest by design, running since 1927: 'The output of the transmitter must not exceed 5 Watts PEP. Overseas contestants may use any power up to the maximum permitted by their license.' Three hours, worked as six half-hour periods. NZART moved to this one-night format for 2026.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=nzart-sangster-shield

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
