Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off Oceania DX Contest Committee's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-17.
- What the source says
The recurrence in words comes from the WIA, a co-sponsor, at https://www.wia.org.au/members/contests/oceania/: 'PH - The first full weekend in October each year from 0600 UTC Saturday to 0600 UTC Sunday' and 'CW - The second full weekend in October each year from 0600 UTC Saturday to 0600 UTC Sunday.' Everything else is from the committee's own 2026 rules (https://www.oceaniadxcontest.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/ocdx26-rules-0.pdf, embedded at /rules): 'Phone Section: 06:00 UTC Saturday 3 October to 06:00 UTC Sunday 4 October 2026'; 'THE BANDS that can be used are 160M, 80M, 40M, 20M, 15M and 10M (no WARC bands)'; 'EXCHANGE: RS(T) report plus a progressive contact serial number starting at 001'; 'High power entrants must not exceed a total output power of 1500 Watts peak envelope power (PEP) ... Low power entrants must not exceed a total output power of 100 Watts PEP and QRP entrants must not exceed a total output power of 5 Watts PEP.' The rule reproduces the committee's own dates in both directions: the first full weekend of October is October 3-4 in 2026 and was October 5-6 in 2024.
- Recorded caveats
- The log deadline is announced each year rather than set as an interval -- 25 October in 2026, 31 October in earlier years -- so this calendar does not compute one. country is 'OC' because the sponsor is a joint VK/ZL committee rather than a national society; see data/sources.md.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=ocdx-phone
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
