Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off ÖVSV's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
oevsv.at Regeln AOEC 160m (PDF, 2025 Ausschreibung). '3. TERMIN: Jeweils am dritten vollen Wochenende im NOVEMBER / Samstag 1600 UTC bis 2359 UTC / 15. November 2025' (Every year on the third full weekend in November, Saturday 1600 UTC to 2359 UTC). OEVSV's English edition of the same rules states the same rule independently: 'PERIOD: Third full weekend each November / Saturday 1600 - 2359 UTC'. Teilnahmeberechtigt: 'alle ... lizensierten Funkamateurinnen und -amateure sowie SWLs weltweit' (all licensed amateurs and SWLs worldwide). Betriebsart: CW only. Kontrollnummer: RST plus serial, with OE stations adding their district.
Recorded caveats
The third full weekend of November is a rule OEVSV states twice, in German and in English, and it reproduces the date the German edition prints for itself: November 2025's full weekends are the 1st/2nd, 8th/9th and 15th/16th, so the third is Saturday 15 November 2025. For 2026 the 1st is a Sunday whose Saturday belongs to October, so the full weekends start on the 7th/8th and the rule gives Saturday 21 November 2026. CONTRADICTIONS, recorded not reconciled: the German rules say 1810-2000 kHz and the English 1810-1950 kHz; the German rules take logs at aoec-auswertung.oevsv.at and the English at contestrobot.aoec160m.oevsv.at, so neither is encoded as the log_submit_url. The deadline is a fixed date (30 November), not an interval. BLOCKER: OEVSV's HF-Referat page still offers only the 2025 Ausschreibung, so this is the current published document and it is on the pending list to re-read.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=oevsv-aoec-160m

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
