Concurso Nacional de 3,5 MHz

Radio Club Argentino's national 80m contest: two hours of LSB for Argentine stations and those of bordering countries, exchanging the year you were first licensed.

Rules at lu4aa.orgThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.

When it runs

Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)

  • 2200Z → 2359Z

Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.

The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.

Next runnings

The sponsor sets this date each year rather than by a rule, and has published through 2026. Years they have not announced are absent rather than guessed.

'Estaciones fijas argentinas y de paises limitrofes. Radioclubes argentinos y de paises limitrofes.' -- Argentine fixed stations and radio clubs and those of bordering countries. The entity list is this catalog's expansion of 'bordering': Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay. RCA names the rule, not the prefixes.

Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off RCA's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
What the source says
lu4aa.org/wp/concurso-nacional-80m/, Radio Club Argentino's own bases: 'Fecha y Hora Sabado 13 de junio de 2026 de 19:00 a 20:59 hs. LU / 22:00 a 23:59 UTC'.
Recorded caveats
RCA PUBLISHES ONE EDITION AT A TIME, NOT A RULE. The bases page states a single dated running and no recurrence, so this is a manual record holding exactly what RCA published and nothing more. Both of RCA's national contests are in that state, and both of the dates on offer as of 2026-08-19 have already passed, so neither puts anything on a forward calendar today. That is the honest position: a plausible ordinal fitted to one date would be a rule RCA has not written. When RCA announces the next edition it is one line each. The times are stated by RCA in UTC alongside local Argentine time, so no zone resolution is involved.

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Subscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=rca-nacional-80m

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
