Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off RSGB Contest Committee's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-20.
- What the source says
rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2026/r160m.shtml, the RSGB Contest Committee's own rules, which cover both 1.8 MHz contests: 'First 1.8 MHz contest: Saturday 14 February 2026: 2000-2300 UTC: CW & SSB. Second 1.8 MHz contest: Saturday 21 November 2026: 2000-2300 UTC: CW only.' Frequencies: '1810-1850 kHz, CW; 1840-1900 kHz, SSB. Maximum legal power.' Exchange: 'RST plus Serial Number starting at 1 and incrementing by 1.' Sections are split UK&CD and Non-UK&CD, assisted and unassisted. RSGB's own dates for four years: 11 Feb 2023, 10 Feb 2024, 8 Feb 2025 and 14 Feb 2026 -- the second Saturday of February each time.
- Recorded caveats
- THE HOURS CHANGED IN 2025 AND THE RULE DID NOT. RSGB ran 1900-2300 UTC in 2023 and 2024 and 2000-2300 from 2025, on the same second Saturday of February. The current three hours are encoded; the change is recorded here so a reader comparing an old result with this calendar is not misled. RSGB keeps a rules page per year, so its own dates check its own rule. Four years were read for this record -- 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 -- and the recurrence reproduces all of them.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=rsgb-1_8mhz-first
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
