Rules at rsgbcc.orgThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.
These dates have not been checked against RSGB Contest Committee's own published rules yet. They are computed from the rule below, which is what the catalog holds — but the sponsor's page wins.
When it runs
Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)
- 1200Z → 1200Z the next day
Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.
The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.
Next runnings
The sponsor sets this date each year rather than by a rule, and has published through 2026. Years they have not announced are absent rather than guessed.

- Checked against the sponsor
- unverified — these dates have not yet been checked against RSGB Contest Committee's own page. Treat the sponsor's rules as authoritative.
- What the source says
rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2026/rallband_ft4.shtml, 'RSGB FT4 International Activity Day': 'Saturday 11 April - 12 April 2026: 1200-1200 UTC.' Mode: 'Standard FT4 format will be used as implemented in WSJT-X V2.6.1 or later.' Bands: '160m, 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m and 10m.' Exchange: '(a) Signal report is required (b) Serial number is NOT required.' Sections split UK&CD and non-UK&CD at 100 W and 10 W. RSGB's own dates for four years: 1 Apr 2023 (0800-2000 UTC, a single 12-hour day), 6-7 Apr 2024, 5-6 Apr 2025 and 11-12 Apr 2026, all 1200-1200 UTC from 2024.
- Recorded caveats
- MANUAL, BECAUSE THE ONE PATTERN THAT FITS THREE YEARS BREAKS IN THE FOURTH. RSGB ran this on the FIRST Saturday of April in 2023, 2024 and 2025 -- and on the SECOND in 2026. So no ordinal describes it, and the record holds only the date RSGB published. There is a plausible reason, and it is a hypothesis rather than a rule: Easter Sunday fell on 5 April 2026, which would put the first Saturday of April on Easter Saturday. Easter fell outside early April in the other three years. If RSGB confirms it avoids Easter, this becomes a rule with an exception; until then it is one year's deviation with a story attached, and a story is not a source. The format also changed: 2023 was a single 12-hour day at 0800-2000 UTC, and from 2024 it has been 24 hours at 1200-1200.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Subscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=rsgb-ft4-activity-day
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
