RSGB FT4 Contest Series
Two hours of FT4 on a Monday evening, twelve times a year, across five HF bands.
Rules at rsgbcc.orgThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.
When it runs
Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)
- 2000Z → 2200Z
Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.
The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.

Six sections split UK and Non-UK at 100 W and 10 W, so stations outside the UK&CD have categories of their own. RSGB adds that 'UK&CD entrants must be RSGB members', which is a condition on the home entrants rather than on everyone.
Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off RSGB Contest Committee's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-23.
- What the source says
rsgbcc.org/hf/rules/2026/r80m_ft4.shtml for the rules and rsgbcc.org/cgi-bin/hfreadcal.pl?year=2026 for the dates, both RSGB's own. 'On Mondays only', twelve legs across the year. Mode: 'Standard FT4 format will be used as implemented in WSJT-X V2.6.1 or later or the equivalent in JTDX, MSHV, WSJT-Z etc.', and entrants 'must not use dedicated Contest formats'. Bands: 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 m. Exchange: 'Signal report is required' and 'Serial number is NOT required'. Six sections covering UK and Non-UK entrants at 100 W and 10 W, open and restricted; 'UK&CD entrants must be RSGB members'. Logs within 24 hours. Checked 2026-08-23.
- Recorded caveats
- TWELVE MONDAY EVENINGS AND THE CLOCK SHIFTS FOR THE SUMMER: January to March and October to December run 2000-2200 UTC, April to September run 1900-2100. Six legs each way, so the record's default is the winter clock and the summer legs carry their own -- the third contest to need per-date times, after the Autumn Series and the 80m Club Championship. MANUAL BECAUSE THE DATES ARE NOT ON THE RULES PAGE and follow no ordinal: they are Mondays, but the third Monday in January, the fourth in February, the third in March. RSGB publishes them on its CGI calendar and this record holds what that prints. Not the same contest as the FT4 International Activity Day in April, which is 24 hours and has its own rules page.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=rsgb-ft4-series
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
