- Yes. The rule on this page was read off Straight Key Century Club's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-23.
- What the source says
skccgroup.com/operating_activities/QSO_Party/, the club's own rules: SKCC's Annual QSO Party 'starts at 1200 UTC on the third Saturday of June and ends at 2359 UTC on Sunday'. Bands: '160-6 meters, excluding the WARC bands (60, 30, 17, and 12 meters)', with suggested frequencies down to 1.8135 and up to 50.090 MHz. Straight keys, sideswipers or bugs required. Exchange: 'RST, QTH, operator name, four-letter grid square and SKCC number', with non-members sending 'none'. Entry is 'open to all licensed amateurs, as well as shortwave listeners'. Logs by '2359 UTC on the Sunday following the event'. Checked 2026-08-23.
- Recorded caveats
- THIRTY-SIX HOURS, NOT A WEEKEND: 1200 UTC Saturday to 2359 UTC Sunday, so it starts at midday and runs to the end of the second day. Straight keys, sideswipers and bugs only: no keyer, no keyboard. That is the club's whole premise rather than a category. The log deadline is eight days because SKCC states it as a WEEKDAY rather than an interval -- 'the Sunday following the event' -- and the contest ends on a Sunday, so the next Sunday is eight days after the Saturday it started.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=skcc-qso-party
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
