EA RTTY Contest
URE's national RTTY contest: 24 hours in early April, Baudot only, Spanish stations sending a province code.
Rules at concursos.ure.esThe rules are the sponsor's. This page holds the dates and the facts.
When it runs
Dates set by the sponsor each year (no derivable rule)
- 1200Z → 1159Z the next day
Times are UTC, as the sponsor states them.
The sponsor announces these dates a year at a time and there is no rule to derive, so this calendar holds only the years they have published: 2026.
Next runnings
The sponsor sets this date each year rather than by a rule, and has published through 2026. Years they have not announced are absent rather than guessed.

- What the source says
concursos.ure.es/en/eartty/bases/: 'Participants: Any radio amateur anywhere in the world with a valid licence.' 'Dates: From 12:00 utc on Saturday 4th to 11:59 utc on Sunday 5th April 2026.' (ES: 'Fechas: Desde las 12:00 utc del sabado dia 4 hasta las 11:59 utc del domingo 5 de abril de 2026.') 'Mode: RTTY Baudot (Teletype).' 'Bands: 10, 15, 20, 40 y 80 meters, in the segments recommended by the IARU for this mode.' 'Exchange: Spanish stations send RSQ and the Province abbreviation. DX stations send RSQ and serial number starting with 001.' 'Logs must be received by 20th April 2026 (15 days).' That is exactly the stored end instant plus 15 days.
- Recorded caveats
- MANUAL, DELIBERATELY: URE states a date and no rule for this contest, in both the English and the Spanish version of the page -- unlike its five other HF contests, every one of which names an ordinal weekend. The 2026 dates happen to be the first full weekend of April, but no ordinal is asserted on URE's behalf, so the record ends after 2026 rather than guessing.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.
Take it with you
Subscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=ure-eartty
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
