Where this comes from

Checked against the sponsor
Yes. The rule on this page was read off WIA's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-17.
What the source says
wia.org.au (John Moyle Memorial Field Day rules): 'The Field Day is held over the 3rd full weekend in March and run from UTC 0100 on the Saturday to 0100 on the Sunday.' Bands as quoted in bands_note. Modes: 'Phone (SSB AM FM)', 'CW', 'Mixed (both PH and CW modes)'. Exchange as quoted. Logs: 'within 14 days to vklogchecker dot com', or jmfd@wia.org.au. The third full weekend in March 2026 is March 21-22.
Recorded caveats
A field day: WIA requires field stations to run from an independent power source, and 'Mains power operation of a portable station is expressly forbidden.' Power is not capped by the rules -- 'All entrants are to operate with power not to exceed their licence conditions for the mode and band of operation.'

Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON

Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.

Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=wia-john-moyle-field-day

Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
