As recomendadas nos planos de banda da IARU, Região 1, (2m=144MHz; 4m=70 MHz; 70cm=432MHz; 23cm=1200MHz e 13cm=2300 MHz) -- the IARU Region 1 band plans. REP's list includes 4m (70 MHz), which is not in this catalog's band vocabulary and so is recorded here rather than in bands.
- Exchange
- Callsign, RS(T), a number beginning 001 and the full QTH locator (for example IM58is). The log must also carry the UTC time and the date of each contact.
- Logs
- Cabrillo · due 10 days after the end
- Who can enter
- Anyone, anywhere.
'Podem participar todos os radioamadores devidamente licenciados' -- all properly licensed radio amateurs may take part.
Where this comes from
- Checked against the sponsor
- Yes. The rule on this page was read off REP's own published rules. Link last confirmed 2026-08-19.
- What the source says
concursos.rep.pt/concurso-dia-de-portugal-vhf-uhf/, REP's own rules: 'A Rede dos Emissores Portugueses, organiza no 10 de junho (feriado) de cada ano o Concurso “Dia de Portugal de VHF-UHF”' -- organised on 10 June, the public holiday, each year. '3 - Período do Concurso: 10 de junho das 12H00 às 18H00 UTC.' Participants: 'Podem participar todos os radioamadores devidamente licenciados' (all properly licensed radio amateurs may take part). Modes: '5 - Modos: Fonia e CW.' REP ran it on 10 June 2025, a Tuesday: its own 'Logs recebidos - VHF-UHF 2025' post is dated 10 June 2025 and opens '10 de junho de 2025'.
- Recorded caveats
- REP PUBLISHES TWO CONTRADICTORY RULES FOR THIS CONTEST AND BOTH ARE LIVE. concursos.rep.pt, the portal linked from rep.pt's own front page, says 10 June every year, lists 2m/4m/70cm/23cm/13cm, weights points per band and sets the log deadline at 20 June. portugaldaycontest.rep.pt/regras_vhf_uhf.php still says 'no 2º Sábado do mês de junho de cada ano, (8 de Junho de 2024)', lists only 2m/70cm/23cm, and sets the deadline at 30 June. The two disagree about the date in every year where 10 June is not the second Saturday. The fixed date is encoded because it is the one REP actually ran: 10 June 2025 was a Tuesday and REP's logs-received post for the 2025 running is dated that day, whereas the second Saturday of June 2025 was the 14th. The superseded page is recorded here rather than silently ignored. Because both the contest and the deadline are fixed dates, log_deadline_days is exactly 10 in every year -- unlike REP's two other contests, whose deadlines are calendar dates that do not sit a constant span after the contest. Modes: REP writes 'Fonia' (phone) rather than SSB specifically; SSB is the catalog's only phone token.
Something wrong? How to report it — a link to the sponsor's own page is all it takes.

Add to Google CalendarSubscribe (iCal)This record as JSON
Add to Google Calendar puts the next running in as a single event. It is one event, not a subscription — come back for the one after it, or use the feed below.
Subscribe (iCal) carries this contest's runnings for the next twelve months as UTC instants and keeps them current. Apple Calendar, Outlook and Thunderbird take this address directly. Its identifiers are stable across deploys, so re-subscribing does not duplicate anything: https://contestclock.com/api/ics?id=rep-portugal-day-vhf-uhf
Google has no working one-click subscribe. Paste that address into Settings → Add calendar → From URL. Google then polls it on its own schedule, often 8–24 hours, and that cannot be forced — so use Add to Google Calendar above if you want the next running in your calendar now.
